Ways to Nurture the Relationship with God

As adults sharing CGS with children, we have often realized how rich it’s content is for the adult’s relationship with God. This book is an attempt to nurture the adult’s hunger and thirst for “good news of great joy” (Luke 2:10) that the children experience through CGS.
The meditations explore and illuminate the Christian message that we have been led to through our work with children, including the birth and infancy of Jesus, the parable of the Good Shepherd, the roots of the Eucharist and the Easter Mystery, and the parable of the True Vine. They are the fruit of Sofia Cavalletti’s meditions with adults gathered together as listeners of the word. ECHOES
At the root of the word "catechesis" is "echo". God's love is echoed throughout creation and throughout history, recorded in the Bible, and celebrated in Liturgy. In catechesis this love is echoed not only to the children but from the children.
