The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd has been the context for most of my theological education, the lens through which I read and write and work with children, and the foundation of my spiritual life for the last 35 years. I LOVE to wrestle with the related questions and mysteries with other catechists, from how to present calligraphy to 7-year-olds to exploring the meaning of the cross in the spiritual life of children. My own five children were my first catechesis companions, along with Rebekah Rojcewicz, with whom I worked at Christian Family Montessori School for a dozen years. The children in the atrium throughout the years, the catechists in numerous courses, colleagues at CFMS and the Center for Children and Theology and now my twin grandsons have continuously enriched the journey of walking with the Good Shepherd. As the director of CCTheo I'm blessed to be able to pursue projects with catechists and others to deepen and refine our work with children and spread the good news of children's theology embedded in their prayers and art.
