Level II formation is designed to attune participants to the religious life of the 6-9-year-old child and to provide specific methods and materials to foster that life. Themes of the Level II course include Sacred History, moral formation, sacramental preparation, Eucharist, the Incarnation, and the Paschal Mystery.Course sessions include prayer, presentations of materials, background information, discussion of album pages, and work in the atrium.

Location: This course is held at Christian Family Montessori School, located in Historic Rock Creek Cemetery at Rock Creek Church Road and Webster Street NW in Washington DC.
Course Facilitator: Catherine Maresca, MA, studied the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with Rebekah Rojcewicz and Sofia Cavalletti. She has conducted formation courses across the United States and in Uganda. She is founder and director of the Center for Children and Theology, where she researches the spiritual life of young children.
Tuition: $700. If the course is cancelled, all fees will be refunded in full. Withdrawals from the course will be refunded, minus a $50 adminstration fee, up to two week before the course begins.
