CCTheo Conversations · Building the Beloved Atrium Community

November 17, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Anita Vincent and Jodi-beth McCain for an initial meeting regarding upcoming plans to conduct research about anti-bias/ anti-racism (ABAR) work in the atrium. This type of investigation can guide us to more effective ABAR work in the future.

We will look at some technical aspects of doing action research in this conversation. We will present an example of action research from the beginning to a written report along with opportunities for the participants to share thoughts and ideas for future ABAR research in CGS. This conversation is the second of three in a series of learning to do action research as a way of authentically meeting the needs of the child and their families. If you attended the first conversation in this series you will be building on your choice of material change to research in June. All are welcome even if you did not attend the first meeting. You are invited, but not required to reach out to cct@cctheo.org to request a recording of the June meeting.

Anita Vincent is a catechist and theologian in Bethlehem PA.

Jodi-beth McCain is Director of Religious Education at Christian Family Montessori School in Washington DC.

This conversation will be hosted on Zoom

November 17, 2022 from 7:30pm – 9pm ET
