Homebound Children Support

Some CCTheo collaborators are researching how the wider Montessori community works with home-bound children. While they are pondering through their research and conversations, we wanted to offer this starting point.

The atrium is a place of prayer. That is its heart. The ongoing conversation with God is our greatest gift to the child.

To help, we’ve created a how to PDF so you can see the process and how a church has done this important work before. Later this week we’ll have a video for parents showing them how to set it up for success and a modeled family introduction for the prayer table. Click the image below to download this resource.

We’re looking for your help! Currently we are pondering the topic of the atrium in the context of a home or hospital bound child. We would love to hear about your experiences and methods of supporting children in these situations.

  • Do you know children unable to leave their homes?
  • Do you have thought?
  • Would you like to support this research?

Please email cct@cctheo.org to join the process!
