Icon of the True Vine

The traditional icon of the True Vine usually features Jesus and twelve apostles. This icon, written for children, shows a young Jesus with twelve children of various ages and places and genders. They are turned to him, holding their “blank page”, ready to receive his word and life. His own scroll has the words, “Remain in my love.” A great gift for catechists and children. Written by Joan Bennett.
